  About Dependable Appliance...

Who We Are:

Fast, friendly, and fully functional, our professional Appliance Repair Service is well renowned throughout the Southeastern Virginia area. Brad's appliance repair career started with a well-known company in Hampton in January of 1981.
 

As well as working for other retail-dealers in Williamsburg and Gloucester up till 1987, he joined a family dealer/servicer in Williamsburg as the senior technician and service manager until 3 years after the untimely loss of his friend and founder to cancer in 2001. With exception of a short tour as a corporate technical representative for a major appliance manufacturer, Brad spent most of his career getting to know the Williamsburg community on a first-name basis.

 

    In 2004, Brad decided to found Dependable Appliance and serve the Williamsburg and Peninsula areas directly - also expanding to include Gloucester and parts of New Kent & Mathews Counties in his route.

His application of skills and experiences accumulated from over 40 years in the appliance repair industry creates a standard that the clients of Dependable Appliance have come to expect. Following the closing of his former employers' well-respected business, numerous inquiries appeared in the local paper, requesting information on the whereabouts of their trusted appliance repairman. As a result, the name "Brad's" was added to the logo to make it easier to find the correct business he represents.

To this day, over 20 years later, Brad's Dependable Appliance is still one of the most highly trusted referrals of families, friends, and neighbors alike.  

 

Covering a service area of an average of 100-130 miles in a day, service is typically prescheduled 24-48 hours ahead for available appointment during the same M-F workweek.  Same-day service is also on an 'as-available' basis.  We always stand behind our work, with customer satisfaction being our #1 priority.

Service Call Charge
is $90* (*$110 for Lanexa /New Kent)
and includes up to 30 minutes to diagnose and/or repair one major kitchen or laundry appliance.  This is payable by check, cash, or PayPal*  
only. Credit/Debit cards accepted only via PayPal* transfer on-site at the time of service. (*PayPal transaction only via "Send Money to Friends of Family" option - fees will be added by PayPal to payment. Payment via PayPal should be discussed when scheduling )

Additional appliances can be added to the service call for a reduced rate of $60 each - which will extend the service call time included by 30 minutes, and can be applied as needed between the appliances serviced as needed. To insure sufficient time, be sure to include additional appliances at the time of scheduling.

Should additional time or parts be required, a "Cost-to-complete" will be provided before any further work proceeds.

There is no additional service charge for a return trip to complete a repair with an ordered part. 



Warranty
is  90 days on all repairs involving replacement parts, from the date of repair completion. 
30 days Follow-up to continue an ongoing or unresolved* issue, following the initial service where no parts are involved. (*This only applies to the specified issue being addressed on the document - not a "warranty" against other issues that could occur at any time on a used appliance). The service charge will not be assessed again within 30 days, however additional parts and/or labor as would have been required to address the issue may be necessary - as they would have been if assessed on the initial visit.
